DETAILED STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Custodial Services * Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks restroom facilities and drinking fountains in accordance with established University health standards * Cleans all surfaces in offices, classrooms, common spaces, laboratories, meeting rooms, etc. * Empties and cleans waste and recycling receptacles and transports contents to designated disposal sites * Sweeps, mops, strips, waxes, polishes, buffs, and applies special finishes to floors * Vacuums, shampoos, and spot cleans carpets and walk-off mats * Replaces light bulbs for internal and external fixtures around the perimeter of buildings and cleans lenses and light covers * Cleans return air grilles and supply diffusers to maintain proper airflow and indoor air quality * Washes interior and exterior windows, glass surfaces, and partitions * Dusts, polishes, removes graffiti from and rearrange furniture * Moves furniture, equipment, books, musical instruments, laboratory
