Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (included but not limited to)
Assist with operating equipment: Assist the Operator with safely and efficiently operating telehandlers or forklifts to move materials around the job site.
Load and unload: Receive, unload, and secure materials onto trucks and into designated storage areas on the job site.
Inventory management: Track materials, conduct cycle counts, and assist with inventory audits to ensure accurate records and prevent shortages.
Safety and compliance: Conduct daily inspections of equipment, report any maintenance needs, and follow all safety protocols and regulations to minimize hazards.
Site coordination: Coordinate material deliveries with site supervisors to ensure materials are available when needed.
Site maintenance: Keep loading docks, storage areas, and machinery clean and organized.
Basic maintenance: Perform routine maintenance like cleaning, fueling, or recharging equipment.
Required Skills and Abilities:
TWIC certification required
Must be certified in operating forklifts and telehandlers

MATERIAL HANDLER I
Based onsite at Rocket Lab's Albuquerque, NM facility the Material Handler I will join our shipping and receiving department and be responsible for activities related to the receiving, storing, and/or shipping of materials or finished product.
WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:
Ensure materials are received from proper vendors and delivered to inventory
Ensuring finished goods are packaged according to specifications and shipped in a timely manner
Review receipts of all materials to ensure purchase orders are open and the quality of materials received is correct
