The service member must be within the last 12 months of their active-duty contract.** **This is an unpaid, non-benefit eligible internship position in partnership with the DoD SkillBridge program.** **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** - Lead with a safety mindset that ensures that every US Foods associate remains injury free, always. Champion safety procedures, processes and training to create and maintain a safety-first culture in the warehouse. - Oversee and develop warehouse associates through one-on-one coaching, training on policy and procedures, assisting in problem resolution when required, and leading by example.
