What to Expect
As a Logistics Associate your role is pivotal to our team, you will safely and accurately track grief parts, update their status, facilitate speedy transfer to our teams, and communicate and escalate issues as needed to support uninterrupted production of assembly lines and fabrication work centers.
What To Expect Do Day to Day
As a Logistics Associate you can expect to track incoming parts, updating their status as they transfer through receiving, inspection, sort, rework, stocking locations, and releasing - escalating when issues arise, assisting with root cause identification and corrective action development for material handling related quality and velocity.
Additionally, you will regularly communicate with supported lines to expedite material planning. Shipment Planning and Scheduling

MINIMUM EDUCATION & WORK REQUIREMENTS:

· UNION POSITION \- max 90\-day assignment*

· 3 Candidates to work evening hours - 2 p.m. \-1030 p.m. (Sunday through Thursday night)

Organizational Relationships:
· Responsible to and receives direction from the Supply Chain Logistics Head - MIC and Supervisors.
Position Overview:
· Materials Handlers are responsible for the correct receiving, replenishment, picking\/packing\/shipping, crediting, truck loading\/unloading, and housekeeping duties for MIC.
· Proper rotation and industry storage guidelines are to be followed.
· Maintain a clean and safe work environment for all.
· Must meet or exceed performance metrics.
· Performs other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
· Need to meet productivity standard.

A Logistics Coordinator is an essential role that helps a company get their product into the consumers' hands in a timely manner. Their responsibilities include overseeing aspects of dispatching, warehouse operations, and providing excellent customer service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments.
Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels.
Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
Notify clients well in advance of potential late deliveries.
Making special shipping arrangements as necessary.
Build routes and reoccurring orders in TMS.
Tracking and fixing shipping errors.
Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards.
Developing processes that make the supply chain more efficient and organized.
Monitor driver electronic logs, driver scorecards, and E-log hardware.
Cover routes if needed.
Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 10:30am to 7:30pm
A rotating Saturday shift 9am to 3pm.
