Essential Functions Troubleshoot vehicles brought in for repair to determine the cause of problems as well as parts and time needed for repair. Perform routine maintenance on vehicles in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations. Perform other trade works as it relates to repairing vehicles or equipment (i.e. welding, glazier work, plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, upholstery, tire repair and automotive body repair). Work on automotive suspension systems, various brake systems, LP1 propane engine fuel systems and heating & cooling systems. Work on different types of engines (gasoline, diesel and propane) and various types of systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic). Work with various types of equipment and systems associated with children with disabilities (i.e. child passenger restraints systems and wheelchair lifts).
