The Apprentice will be evaluated every three months and rotate between technicians to ensure diverse training. Key Responsibilities: Assist senior technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, refrigeration, and commercial kitchen equipment Learn to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues using tools, meters, and specialized instruments Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and systems Assist with system inspections, identify malfunctions, and provide recommendations for repairs or upgrades Maintain and organize equipment, tools, and spare parts inventory Keep accurate records of services performed, including diagnostic results, repairs, and parts used Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices when handling equipment, tools, and hazardous materials Participate in on-the-job training and attend formal training programs to develop technical knowledge and skills Communicate effectively with clients, answering questions and providing updates on repair or installation progress Assist in the preparation of estimates and work orders under supervision Support senior technicians in troubleshooting complex issues as experience is gained Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent.
