The General Machine Operator is responsible for operating mechanical or automated machinery for the production of high performance and severe duty brake, clutch and transmission applications. Minimum Requirements: • Certified to operate all types of powered industrial trucks. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Solid understanding of quality and corporate policies. • Solid understanding of the importance of and basic requirements of regulatory agencies such as the FDA, EMEA, OSHA and EPA. • Demonstrated solid judgment and initiative. • Enthusiastic, positive attitude, flexible and willing to work overtime. • Proactive and self-motivated to support team initiatives and in solving business problems. • Ability to perform multiple tasks at the same time and make decisions regarding prioritization. • Ability to pick-up / move 40-pound containers. • Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE corporate and site goals. • May require criminal background check. • May require Controlled Substance Authorization. Additional Preferences: • Previous experience with materials handling and inventory management systems. • Previous warehouse / logistics experience in a GMP environment. Education Requirements: • High School Diploma or Equivalent. Other Information: • 12-hour shift/nights • Overtime and flexibility in shift will be required. • This role has opportunity for direct interaction with regulatory agencies during site inspections. • Tasks may require handling hazardous or other dangerous materials. • Some allergens are present in the IDAP plant. The anticipated wage for this position is $17.30 - $38.08 Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
