What will you do in this role?
Perform various tasks in support of production operations.

Troubleshooting and maintenance: Collaborating with the maintenance team, you'll help diagnose and resolve issues with the mills to minimize downtime.
Team leadership: Lead a small team of mill operators in various tasks, delegating responsibilities to ensure efficient work completion.
Utilizing tools and equipment: Periodically use hand tools and testing equipment to analyze and correct system, device, and instrument malfunctions.
Maintaining equipment and workspace: Keeping your work area organized and small power tools in proper working condition.
Recording data: Maintaining accurate production records, including quantities, downtime, and quality measurements.
Requirements
A strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of milling machinery and processes.
Exceptional attention to detail and precision in work.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with team members and maintenance personnel.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and instructions.
Commitment to following safety procedures and guidelines.

Pay: $20-$25 per hour

Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Responsibilities for Screw Machine Operator:
Sort defective parts from acceptable parts or scrap by visual inspection
Deburr, polish, or grind parts using hand tools or abrasive wheels
Clean and demagnetize parts
Separate parts from machine chips and clean with solvent
Load tumblers with parts and cleaning compounds
Transfer parts between workstations
Assist in packaging parts according to customer specifications
Maintain cleanliness of work areas
Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
