The Production Operator will perform a variety of tasks involved in the manufacturing and packaging of freeze-drying protein ingredients for the pet food industry. Responsibilities include the safe and sanitary operation of manufacturing process equipment, food safety and quality inspection and other tasks as needed while ensuring compliance with environmental, health and safety policies. * Work safely, complying with all safety, quality and sanitation policies and procedures and proactively identify and report potential safety hazards so they can be corrected. * Adhere to production schedule as outlined by the supply chain team. Collect data for delays as they relate to production schedules * Correctly carry out any required quality checks and constantly monitor the quality of the products through the manufacturing process. * Operate all equipment as outlined in SOP, conduct set up and breakdown of equipment as required.
