Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Sand Production Foreman, the sand production operator serves as a contributing member of the sand production team and the second operator on operating the dredge and/or monitoring the sand plant. This may include the operation of a dredge and monitoring of the plant when not operating the dredge.

Location and Compensation:The production location may vary as assigned/needed. This position is full-time and may include a variation of work hours via a split shift rotation during peak production times. Pay will be adjusted during the split shift season. Earning up to $36.00/hr at times. Full-time season work with the opportunity to stay on in the winter. + Work with the line team to meet the daily production.
+ Will be required to do first piece inspection during the 1st hour of the day at their assigned station.

In a Nutshell:
Laddawn has manufacturing facilities located from coast to coast, which allows us to rapidly ship to our customers no matter where they are located. You'll help us inspect and package finished product that wows our customers.
What you'll be doing:
· Packaging bags/rolls into boxes, weighing the boxes, and keeping accurate counts in the computer system.
· Performing quality control checks on product and ensuring that all products are properly labeled with a Q.C. sticker before stacking finished product.
· Keeping the work area clean and clutter free: picking up scrap materials around the production lines and cutting scrap off cores.
· Alerting Setup Technicians or Changeover Technicians using the light system to keep them informed of production status.
Scheduling
Production workers are scheduled 12 hours per day, 4 days per week, and work every other weekend.
Day shift is scheduled from 7am-7pm. Night shift is scheduled from 7pm-7am.

As a Production or Warehouse Operator, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
* Responsible for operating production equipment, inspecting, and packing product safely and according to standards.
* Use computers to run process operations, receive communications, etc.
* Use hand and power industrial trucks.
* Working 8, 10, or 12 hour fixed or rotating shifts, depending on shift availability.
* Working overtime, weekends, holidays as needed and short notice.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
* Must be 18 years old
* Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
Applicants meeting the basic qualifications above may be required to take and pass 3M elected testing as a part of the selection process

Pay & Benefits:
The starting rate of pay for this position is $$23.91. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
