Job DescriptionThis position pays $19.00 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential. Must have manufacturing experience and mechanical aptitude. This is a safety sensitive position. The machine operator will safely operate, and trouble shoot equipment involved in the production of garage doors. Responsibilities: Ensures line is meeting or exceeding departmental safety, quality, and productivity hourly and daily goals. Follows written or oral instructions regarding daily tasks and job duties. Works closely with Supervisor to assist in training new team members. Keeps notes to update KPI screen for hourly output. Implements and follows plant procedures. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Oversees the safe, efficient, reliable and environmentally sound operation of plant equipment. Properly operates scrubbers, steam turbines, generators, plant auxiliary equipment and systems during normal and emergency operations. The Production Operator is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing activities including material preparation, equipment setup, process monitoring, and execution of production tasks. This role is hands-on and critical to ensuring safe, consistent, and efficient operations across casting, machining, and finishing areas.
