This position is in the front line of packaging finished goods to prepare for shipment. Perform in-process inspections of parts throughout the manufacturing run and ensure they meet visual standards of acceptance.

Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately, according to specifications and in a timely fashion.
Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
Report material utilization and daily production data.
Recognize defective materials for color, surface blemishes, finish, and dimensions.
Inspect the condition of molds and component parts for damage and wear.
Inspect machine, conveyor and tools in department and notify Lead that a maintenance repair is needed, or replacement tools are required.
Keeping work cell, department, and fire-doors clear of trash and other obstructions that could hinder department performance/safety.
Maintain condition of work area to meet 5-S standards.
Communicate with team members and support teams.
Maintain professional attitude offering support to Leads, Supervisors and Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
Prior experience operating manufacturing, and process control equipment preferred.
Extrusion, thermoform, Injection Mold, or related plastics machine operator experience preferred.
