Duties and Responsibilities: Understands and follows set protocols for PPE and Cleanliness (Handwashing, Uniform, Tools, etc) Operation of various machines (filler, casting line, wrapper, former, grinder, massman etc) Monitor quality of boxes, pouches, labels and communicate to other operators Unwrap barrels, ensure cheese packages are made correctly Ensure dry ingredients are placed on pallet according to the blend sheet Open cheese packages and place in rework containers Assist with Cleaning and Sanitizing of machines and areas after production is finished Keep work area neat, clean and organized Work in a safe, efficient manner in a fast paced environment Other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Excellent Math, Reading and Writing skills Strong communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines Ability to work independently on assigned duties Adaptable to sudden changes Willing to learn new skills Be a dependable member of a team Ability to work in Cold and Warm environments Mechanical aptitude Knowledge of computers Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, other quality guidelines Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or designated replacement Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs Schedule: Day Shift 5:30am to 6:00pm Monday - Friday, frequent Saturdays Benefits: Medical - Prescription Drug - Dental - Vision Paid time off (PTO) 401(k) with company match Disability, life and voluntary insurance Employee Assistance Program Profit Sharing Internal Career Opportunities If you are interested in this position you can apply by filling out an application in UKG/Ultipro, you must use the desktop website, not the mobile app.
