Conduct metal detector calibration checks and immediately report any issues to QA.

Set up and operate burn table equipment (plasma or gas) to cut steel plate and structural material
Operate industrial saws (band saws or similar) to cut raw materials to required lengths and tolerances
Load and unload material using overhead cranes, magnets, lift beams, and forklifts
Read blueprints, cutting lists, and bills of material (BOMs)
Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure accuracy and quality
Maintain material traceability by properly marking grades, heat numbers, and lot numbers
Perform minor machine adjustments and routine preventive maintenance
Support fabrication and service material prep needs, including priority and rush jobs
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following safety policies and PPE requirements
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules
