Job Overview:Responsibilities & Duties:
May include, but isn't limited to:
Operating filling equipment; making minor machine adjustments.
Performs packaging of finished product packages.
Making corrugated boxes and partitions.
Packing finished merchandise in boxes.
Sealing cases with tape gun or tape machine.
Labeling finished cases with proper identification.
Placing finished cases on pallets using pre-determined case placements.

Make all necessary machine adjustments as outlined in the operation guide for each packaging machine
Accurately complete all paperwork, including production work orders, downtime sheets, weight check, etc.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience in a GMP/regulated industry is a plus!
Ability to lift and carry 25 - 50 lbs on a regular basis.

What You'll Do:
* Mold Operation: Load, unload, and maintain molds, ensuring proper cleaning and trimming for high-quality output.

* Spraying & Painting: Adjust mold sprayers, perform paint prep, and ensure proper application and drying.

Visually check the quality of parts being packed per set up sheet.

A Day in the Life of an IAF Team Member?
As a Machine Operator,
you will operate up to 3 machines to our safety, quality, and production standards. In this position, you will verify parts are correct for the process and load fasteners into the machine, understand how the process works, and keep up with the production cycle times of the machine(s). Once the cycle is complete, then the parts are unloaded and inspected according to IAF quality standards. There are chemicals used in the machine processing such as caustic, acids, zinc, paint-like coatings, and oil. As a machine operator in these areas there are different chemical smells.
