    Job Description Chemical Packaging Operator has the potential to become permanent. The assignment is for at least 12 months. Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Interviews to be held onsite Physical not required unless converting to a permanent employee. Candidates should be able to follow instructions, have critical thinking. This job can be demanding at times. Candidates should have a strong mindset for safety awareness. The Packaging Operator will be responsible for the process packaging of chemical orders by coordinating the activities of the site planner, operations supervisor, and shipping department to ensure a high level of customer service. Your duties will include receiving material that has cleared final quality inspection, preparing the appropriate packaging container(s), and filling the prepared containers according to the required configuration. You will be responsible for the final labeling of packaged products before transferring them to the shipping department and are accountable for the accuracy, cleanliness, and on-time completion of your orders. You will be expected to complete detail-oriented paperwork and computer transactions to support packaging and ERP systems and to uphold our high-quality standard throughout all operations. In addition to the packaging responsibilities, you will be expected to maintain and ensure the accuracy of departmental SOPs, as well as maintain proper inventory, organization, and cleanliness of the packaging department as well as assist our shipping department with support tasks as needed.
