Location: Euclid - 22801 Req ID: 27988 Primary Function Analyze, review and repair non-conforming PC Boards. Responsibilities Understand and perform associated quality procedures used to process items in work center. Repair and rework assembly line and in-process PC board failures. Repair and rework in-process PC Board failures. Identify and enter PC Board failure information and accountability into MES. Comply with Plant Rules and Regulations, Factory, and Operation specifications. Follow all applicable ESD procedures during handling and repair. Obtain and return SMT and through-hole components from/to designated locations. Disposition PCB assemblies as acceptable or need repair. Notify QA personnel and MAS of processing / operator errors and issues discovered. Notify scheduler, MAS, and QA personnel when high percentage of failures occurs. Collaborate with Supervision, Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, R&D, and Plant Engineering to resolve equipment, procedural, and assembly problems. Cross training of employees to provide flexibility will be required. Skills and Aptitude Have excellent people, organizational and communications skills. Must have an uncompromising attitude towards quality. Excellent attendance, safety and work record. Must be self-motivated. Working knowledge of production and manufacturing floor control systems. Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, MS Access database and Word application. Ability to lift 60 pounds on an occasional basis. Must be knowledgeable of quality procedures used in the manufacturing department and how they relate to the needs of the customer. Safety, workmanship, product quality and productivity in the performance of the job. May require shift rotation. Must be knowledgeable on soldering as dictated by QC-306 Training The Supervisor/Manager shall determine when an individual has completed the training and is qualified to assume these responsibilities. The Supervisor/Manager shall ensure that the employee receives “on the job training”, and the following training at the appropriate times. See Lincoln specification RE150 for training requirements. Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Understand the Company's EHS Policy and how it relates to this job. Be aware of OSHA and EPA laws and regulations as well as the Company's Plant Rules and Regulations that pertain to this job. Work in a safe manner and observe all company EHS, and JHA procedures. Follow safe equipment operating procedures and only operate equipment when guards are in place and in good condition. Know that the company EHS procedures are contained in reference books, such as SSW Specifications, Plant Rules and Regulations, and Material Safety Data Sheets, which are located in the Foreman's area. Immediately notify the Production Team Lead if there is any safety hazard, any equipment not operating correctly, or if there are any questions regarding EHS, and JHA procedures. Make sure all containers of chemicals used for this job are compatible with the material in the container and are properly labeled with a GHS label and stored per company policy when not in use. Make sure all equipment spills, leaks and chemicals are properly contained and cleaned up and trouble call entered for repair. Best efforts shall be used to reduce, reuse or recycle waste while performing the duties and/or tasks associated with this job and segregate waste per company policy. Participants in EHS initiatives as required by department and employee objectives and goals.
