Oversee and optimize Meditech system workflows within revenue cycle modules to improve accuracy, efficiency, and reporting.
Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as AR days, DNFB, denial rates, clean claim rates, and cash collections.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of all claims, both governmental and commercial, while minimizing rejections and denials.
Lead initiatives to reduce denials through improved documentation, coding accuracy, and payer communication.
Maintain a compliant and accurate Charge Description Master (CDM) and support correct charge capture across all departments.
Collaborate with clinical leaders to support accurate documentation and alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements.
Direct the implementation of revenue cycle policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and operational excellence.
Partner with Compliance and HIM to ensure adherence to CMS guidelines, HIPAA regulations, and all applicable billing and documentation laws.
Analyze payer trends, reimbursement issues, and claim disputes to identify root causes and drive corrective action plans.
Prepare and present regular financial and operational reports to executive leadership, identifying risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.

Directly supervise revenue cycle leadership and management staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for staff to enhance team performance.
Establish clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics for all revenue cycle departments.
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Manage workflow assignments, staffing schedules, and department resources to meet operational objectives.
Conduct disciplinary actions when necessary, in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Extensive knowledge of hospital revenue cycle operations, including patient access, insurance verification, coding, billing, charge capture, denials management, and collections.
In-depth understanding of Meditech Expanse and Business & Clinical Analytics (BCA) revenue cycle modules, workflows, reporting functions, system optimization, and data extraction.
Strong knowledge of Charge Description Master (CDM), ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines and how they impact reimbursement.
Comprehensive understanding of payer rules and reimbursement methodologies, including Medicare, Medicaid, commercial payers, managed care plans, and value-based arrangements.
Knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations, including CMS billing guidelines, HIPAA, EMTALA, and compliance standards involved in revenue cycle operations.
Familiarity with charge capture processes, including documentation requirements and regulatory billing compliance.
Strong understanding of clinical documentation integrity (CDI) and its impact on coding, quality scores, and reimbursement.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field preferred. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, at least 10 years experience working in a hospital Revenue Cycle setting is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of progressive management experience in a hospital Revenue Cycle setting.
Experience with Meditech Expanse preferred; experience with Electronic Health Records systems and analytic tools required

The CI Manager will work under the guidance of the Director of Community Initiatives to organize and contribute to public-facing resources for community suicide prevention efforts, as well as internal work plans, reports, and program evaluation efforts. Candidates for this position should possess experience and expertise in coalition-building, project management, and collaboration. This position may be located remotely or in the Norman, Oklahoma office.

Specific responsibilities include:
* Manages the work of the CI team to design, implement, and evaluate resource projects, needs assessments, website development and revisions, to achieve goals in alignment with SPRC and the CI.
* Coordinates outreach to community organizations and coalitions to support needs assessment and resource development.
* Serves as interface for regular collaboration between Community Initiatives and other SPRC initiative teams and partners
* Increase visibility of SPRC Community Initiatives resources by presenting at conferences and meetings
* Assists in developing informative workshops, training, and presentations and helps plan, manage, and provide input and content for public-facing resources (e.g., websites, guides, reports, briefs).
* Develops and administers monitoring for the work of CI contractors and consultants, such as subject matter experts and event organizers. This includes identifying appropriate deliverables, drafting scopes of work, tracking progress, directing work, and working closely with financial staff to monitor invoicing.
* Designs and develops instructional materials in coordination with the SPRC Communications Team
* Work to ensure that the voices and perspectives of people groups at highest risk for suicide are included in the design, implementation, evaluation, and ongoing improvements of CI. This will primarily be done through collaboration with SPRC advisory councils and contributing partners.
* Collects data on training and technical assistance activities to support SPRC evaluation processes and prepares reports as needed to support process and systems improvements.
* Assists with and monitors technical assistance for leaders of communities and coalitions who are working to prevent suicide.
* Maintains a working knowledge of current suicide prevention research, updates, innovations, and advancements, including upstream suicide prevention developments in reducing risk and promoting protective factors.
* Performs various other duties as necessary to successfully fulfill the function of the position.
Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in related field, AND:
* 18 months of community outreach-related experience.

* Ability to work independently and as a team member in synchronous and asynchronous environments.
* Working knowledge of community suicide prevention efforts and experience across the continuum of prevention.

* Project management skills and familiarity with associated software and applications.
* Proven collaboration experience and skills.
* Direct experience with a variety of online conferencing software and platforms.
* Ability to learn new software, learning management systems, and other technology to facilitate the development of resources.
Departmental Preferences:
* Master's degree in related field
* 30 months experience in leading prevention, mental health, public health, and/or coalition-building projects with communities

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Ability to understand, follow and/or provide verbal and written instructions or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Licenses and Certifications: Valid Oklahoma Driver's License and a satisfactory driving record. Must obtain an Oklahoma Commercial Driver's License, Class A with N endorsement within six (6) months of employment (depending on class/testing availability). Must obtain State of Oklahoma Class "D" Water Operator certification and/or Class "D" Distribution/Collection certification within six (6) months of employment.

Essential Functions: Repairs water lines. Lays new pipe. Repairs and installs fire hydrants and line valves. Installs and exchanges water meters. Interfaces with citizens in person regarding minor complaints or questions. Inspects equipment for safety hazards before use. Performs preventive maintenance on equipment as needed. Works in a manner safe to the individual and other people. Keeps work area clean and safe. Follows safety rules and safe work practices. Uses safety equipment as required. Assists Equipment Operators, Maintenance Workers II, and Meter Readers when needed. Performs related duties as required.
Mental and Physical Abilities: Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail. Ability to lift and carry moderately heavy (25-50 lb.) and heavy (50-75 lb.) supplies, materials, and debris frequently. Work requires continued walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. Ability to maintain regular, predictable and punctual attendance.
Working Conditions: Frequent exposure of up to 80% of work time to dirt, dust, extremes of temperatures, noise, and noxious fumes and odors. Exposure to hazards associated with equipment, machinery, rough terrain at construction sites, and moving vehicles on roadways. On call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies.
