The Production Operator is responsible for performing a variety of bottling line functions and, over time, shall become proficient at all bottling line functions.
The shift has not been determined but more information will be discussed during the interview process.
Forklift experience is required and must be able to pass our forklift training class within three (3) days after start date
Rate of pay is $22.50 per hour and shift differential is available based on night shift work schedule. This will be discussed during the interview.
GMP & PPE Required
While on the production floor in the plant you will be required to follow and help to enforce all GMP regulations in the plant. Anyone entering the production floor must follow the GMP rules in their employee handbook, which includes the required hairnets, beard nets, and earplugs. It is also required that all personnel wear safety glasses. Follows standard operating procedures including quality checks and procedures for all operations. Also follows HACCP and SQF requirements for food quality and safety.
Essential Job Duties:
Inspects and takes corrective action at all times.
Monitors bottling line, filling cap bin, inspecting and assuring the continuous flow of bottles; and, monitors the accuracy of bottle coding.
Monitors labeler bottling line, filling labeler, inspecting and assuring the continuous application of labels; and, assures continuous supply of glue.
Monitors new bottles going into bottling room and corrects jamming.
Monitors case packer.
Documents case production on production sheet.
Follows standard operating procedures for all operations.
Maintains clean, orderly and safe work area at all times.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed
Basic reading, writing, and math skills
Functional Knowledge Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Some manufacturing experience with a beverage, food, or liquid consumer products manufacturer preferred but not required
Prior knowledge of GMP's, sanitation standards and FDA requirements is helpful

Key Responsibilities:
Handles day-to-day print production projects, works on multiple projects simultaneously.

Accurately prepares substrates for material application, including cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, and maintaining proper storage of substrates for material application.
Ensures proper and strict quality control from start to finish by accurately reading and interpreting work orders, proofing for errors or unacceptable standards (bubbles, ragged edges, loose seams), and inspection for final delivery.
Operates various printing machines, maintains proper fit and settings, and feeds material into machines.
Reports inventory levels and the stock of various substrates and lamination materials to be reordered to the manager.
Unloads and stores all printing materials, cleans, and maintains storage areas, properly stores rigid substrates, and organizes storage racks.
Keeps the production area neat, clean, and organized, including sweeping, taking out the trash, and general clean up on a daily basis.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will focus on one of the following areas, and we plan to cross-train in the future so that you may work in any area. In the coating area, you may work as:
A Clipper, clipping and securing lenses into baskets to begin the coating process.
A Machine Operator, preparing and operating the coating machine to coat the lenses properly. This will include:
Loading machine chemicals.
Loading and unloading sectors with lenses.
An Inspector, inspecting lenses to ensure that they are optically and cosmetically accurate.
In finishing, you may work as:
A Beveler, utilizing the bevel wheel to remove the sharp edges of the lens.
A Mounter, inserting edged lenses to ensure proper fit and alignment, and inserting lenses into the frame while ensuring proper fit.
An Edger Operator, using variety of edging machines to cut lenses down to proper size and shape to fit the appropriate frame.
A Finish Layout preparer, readying uncut lenses for the edging process by outlining the center/alignment markings and affixing the chuck/block.
A Tinter, accurately tinting all lenses.
An inspector, checking lenses and frames to ensure quality standards are met.
In surfacing, you may work as:
A Surfacing Blocker, utilizing the blocking machine to accurately secure a block to all lenses going through the surfacing department. You'll operate taping equipment to apply protective tape to the front of the lenses.
A Surface Finer/Polisher, operating the equipment used to fine and polish all lenses going through the surfacing depart.
A Lens Washer, hand washing and drying lenses followed by a brief cosmetic inspection of the lenses. You'll grasp lenses with a de-blocking cup and strike it against the table to remove block from lenses, and also remove tape from lenses.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

MasterBrand Cabinets is hiring (full-time) Production Associates to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to assemble or manufacture cabinets and cabinet components to meet or exceed production goals. Training is provided for our positions.

Qualifications

* Must be 18 years of age, have reliable transportation, and work overtime as needed.
* Previous experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
* Previous experience in assembly or a production-oriented environment preferred.
Additionally, selected candidates will be evaluated for several production-related roles based on business needs. All positions are physically demanding in some way; however, some roles require:
* The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50 lbs.; and
* The ability to stand or walk up to an entire shift (up to 10-12 hours).
