mac OS Developer Mode: Hybrid Duration: Contract
We're looking for a creative and resourceful mac OS developer with 3-5 years of experience to support the lead engineer on a large internal tools project. This person will assist in implementing new features, testing existing code, and fixing bugs.
The project involves building internal extensions to a suite of established, consumer-facing mac OS applications. These extensions are designed to streamline the content creation workflows of our creative design and production teams.
The applications being extended have a mature and complex codebase, written predominantly in Objective-C (~90%). All new development is being done in Swift, with SwiftUI used for the user interface layer.
Success in this role will require deep knowledge of mac OS development and strong experience working across both Objective-C and Swift, including handling interoperability between the two. You should be comfortable navigating a large legacy codebase while contributing modern Swift code that integrates cleanly and safely.
A significant portion of this role will focus on testing new and existing features, as well as performing quick-turnaround bug fixes as the need arises.
Requirements
Extensive mac OS development experience with SwiftUI and AppKit
Deep knowledge of Swift and Objective-C interoperability, with hands-on experience working across both languages
Ability to extend and integrate with existing codebases while minimizing impact to legacy code
Proven experience contributing to large-scale, complex projects
Experience collaborating with creative and production teams, understanding their workflows and needs

The Manufacturing Technician (Xoft) performs a range of medical device assembly and processing tasks as part of the production team.
Responsibilities:
· Assemble, inspect, test, package, and label medical devices per documented procedures.
· Complete production documentation accurately and follow quality management and safety standards.
· Execute tasks based on production orders, drawings, and work instructions, consulting the manager on progress and priorities.
· Perform final testing, record data in measurement reports, and assign lot/serial numbers to products.

The Manufacturing Technician (Xoft) performs a range of medical device assembly and processing tasks as part of the production team.
Responsibilities:
* Assemble, inspect, test, package, and label medical devices per documented procedures.
* Complete production documentation accurately and follow quality management and safety standards.
* Execute tasks based on production orders, drawings, and work instructions, consulting the manager on progress and priorities.
* Perform final testing, record data in measurement reports, and assign lot/serial numbers to products.
* Participate in the manufacturing team's processes and contribute to facility safety as a
member of the Xoft safety team.
* Transact Manufacturing Orders using the ERP system.
* Manage inventory accurately, in assigned work space
* Participate in Inventory Counting in preparation for Audits
* Represent process steps where trained, during Quality System Audits.
* Document accurate work instructions for all processes and collaborate with the manager to design and produce assembly tools.
* Support other production teams as needed.
* Adhere to regulations regarding Medical Device Manufacturing (FDA 510, ISO 13485, MDR).
* Follow Lean Manufacturing principles, including waste reduction and 5S practices.
* Take initiative in proposing and implementing improvements, actively contributing to projects.
* Technical background equivalent to Grade 12.
Qualifications-
* Experience and/or a desire to learn high-skill medical device cable assembly.
* Ability to assemble micro-scale devices under a microscope for extended periods.
* Proficiency in using measurement equipment and maintaining accurate process records.
* Knowledge or experience in medical product treatment standards (e.g., FDA 510k, ISO 13485 guidelines).
* Familiarity with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is advantageous.
* Resourceful in ordering parts, working with vendors, and daily problem-solving.

10+ years of experience in IC packaging development and NPI for high-speed SerDes and high-performance SoCs, ASICs, or memory products
Deep hands-on expertise with FCBGA, fc CSP, co-packaged optics (CPO), and 2.5D/3D integration technologies such as CoWoS, RDL and silicon interposers, and chiplet-based architectures (e.g., BoW, UCIe); along with experience in fan-out wafer-level packaging (FOWLP/WLFO).
Strong understanding of packaging material selection, substrate stack-up, bump/RDL design, and DFM for advanced nodes

QUALIFICATIONS - KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS- EXPERIENCE:
2+ Years of SMT machine Operation. Juki Machine Operation preferred. (we will train inexperience to SMT).
Knowledge of the solder paste print process
Previous knowledge of mechanical, thru-hole, surface mount, electronic component identification, and performing reworks on printed circuit boards is a must.
Ability to use quality-related measuring equipment.
Ability to follow procedures and maintain the quality of products at all times.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good computer skills and the ability to learn new skills and tasks as required, especially PCB software (ProCim).
Strong time and document management and interpersonal skills.
Willing to take on new challenges within demanding deadlines utilizing a results-oriented performance style.

Diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and software issues.
Document issues found, steps taken, and root cause of all repairs.
Validating and improving repair procedures for repeat issues and future remanufacturing of failed in field robots and sub-assemblies
Supporting any immediate need to keep manufacturing moving at a high rate
Requirements:
3+ years experience working with complex systems
Familiarity with computer based tools such as but not limited to Google Suite, Confluence, Jira, and an interest to learn command prompt and product specific software
Comfortable using a Digital Multi Meter
Familiarity with torque tools and mechanical assembly
Ability to follow assembly documentation
Ability to build with little to no documentation with engineering support

The Job You Will Perform:
Responsible to Plant Management for the day-to-day safe operations
Assist as assigned through the facility (feeding and stacking at various machines, and assist with hand labor and housekeeping).
Understand basic principles of corrugated (flutes, corrugation direction, and various substrates).
Assist Assistant Operator and Operator with set-ups and production on machine
Ensure the quality of the finished product produced at each machine center is carried out in the most efficient manner with company quality and production requirements.
