Production Operator ($22hr) This position is responsible for daily operations of the production floor; ensuring the shift meets established safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements. Essential Functions Responsible for daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring product adheres to Niagara's standard of safety, quality, and throughput. Accurately completes applicable quality and production reports hourly. Physical and visual inspection of product is required to prevent non-conforming goods. Correctly reports all quality defects to the appropriate team members and shift leadership. Adheres to the highest standards of company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations. Abides by Niagara's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards at all times. Maintains general housekeeping in all areas of production and additional areas assigned by plant leadership. Maintains appropriate level of raw materials as required, to ensure production lines incur minimal downtime. Demonstrates the aptitude and skill to work in all assigned areas of production; troubleshoots minor production line issues and performs relief duties when required. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job. Ability to work 12 hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule or schedule as dictated by production demand. Full-time Description JE Technology Solutions, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of Aircraft Ground Equipment, is seeking a talented, Manufacturing Technician to support the mechanical assembly team in our production department. This is a great opportunity to be a vital member of the production team that manufactures our custom Aircraft Ground Support Equipment. The chosen candidate will perform assemble/fabricate electrical/mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications of assigned production line in our manufacturing facility. Essential duties and responsibilities -Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. -Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written --- instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products -Maintain productivity as determined by management -Utilize handheld tools such as cordless drills, ratchets, sockets, heat guns, etc. -Maintain inventory of product in workstations -Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards -Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified -Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes- -Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures -Maintain a clean and safe work area -Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
