Experience in mechanical design for larger industrial and commercial buildings is preferred, with experience in mission critical design a plus. Experience working across the entire construction process, from schematic design through construction administration, including review of submittals and shop drawings, and field work such as existing condition surveys, site observations, and punch lists. Experience leading small mechanical design teams and having some client interface experience is preferred. Experience using construction management tools such as Procore and Autodesk Construction Cloud. Basic understanding of controls for mechanical systems is a plus. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred. LOCATION This position will begin as remote, with plans to transition to a hybrid role as we continue to grow. We anticipate establishing offices in both the Austin and Dallas-Fort Worth metro areas in the near future, at which point it will become a hybrid role.
