Summary

Job Description
* Assigned to a training program that would last one to two years, depending on when the employee completes the Process Quality (PQ) Certification Program;
* Will be required to complete Foundations of Leadership and the PQ Training Programs and would be required to complete the PQ Certification;
* Will be assigned Engineering and/or Maintenance projects;
* Will be mentored by the Plant Engineering Manager, Project Engineer and Production Manager;
* Will be tasked with monitoring production to insure that safety, quality and cost standards are maintained;
* Responsible for evaluating subordinate performance, communicating with employees and providing information for work performance improvement.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related field with 1-3 years' experience or a Master's degree with 0-1 year's experience.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving and organizational skills.
* Proficient in MS Office, with a high emphasis in Excel.
* Must be detail orientated.
* Excellent technical and analytical skills.
* Ability to work weekends and/or shift work with a strong work ethic and employment history

What is PCA's POE Program?
The POE Program is a 2-year rotational training program designed to give recent engineering graduates in depth, hands-on technical training in the Maintenance and Production departments of a corrugated box plant, and a well-rounded understanding of the corrugated packaging industry as a whole. In addition, POEs will complete engineering process optimization projects throughout the box plant, typically in areas of scrap reduction, throughput improvements, downtime reduction, etc., and will provide engineering support to all plant functions as needed.
Upon successful completion of the program, the Plant Optimization Engineer will transition into a new full-time role in the chosen career path either at their current plant, or another plant or paper mill that has an opening that aligns with their skills and interests.
Typical career paths for those who have completed the POE Program include box plant leadership/management positions in Production or Maintenance.
Principle Accountabilities:
Work closely and communicate often with the assigned POE Mentor throughout the program to help stay on track and reinforce the goals of the role.
Rotate through Maintenance and Production departments at a corrugated plant, completing assigned technical training in each area.
Organize and implement moderate to large process improvements, problem elimination and capital/expense projects focusing on asset health and overall improved reliability.

Attend and participate in POE program conferences and assigned off-site training.

The Project Engineer will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects.
Duties include providing oversight, inspection, execution, and quality control measures implemented by Magic
Valley Electric for electrical construction job sites. Also identify and devise a high standard of project plans to

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
Support project planning, scheduling, and budgeting in collaboration with the Project Manager.
Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project goals are met.
Assist in preparing submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), change orders, safety manuals, O&M's, warranties, and other project documentation.
Track material orders and deliveries to ensure timely availability of equipment and supplies.
Monitor project progress and report on key performance indicators (schedule, cost, quality).
Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and codes.
Maintain project documentation (field logs, inspection reports, project progress photos, etc.) and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
Participate in job-site visits and meetings, as needed.
Assist in commissioning and project closeout activities.
Develop and draft plans with project managers.
Track and report key metrics to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.

Job Description:
The Project Engineer will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects.
Duties include providing oversight, inspection, execution, and quality control measures implemented by Magic
Valley Electric for electrical construction job sites. Also identify and devise a high standard of project plans to
meet and exceed acceptable industry standards resulting in quality products for clients. This role supports the
Project Manager and field teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with
electrical codes and company standards.
Essential Functions include but are not limited to:
Support project planning, scheduling, and budgeting in collaboration with the Project Manager.
Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project goals are met.
Assist in preparing submittals, RFIs (Requests for Information), change orders, safety manuals, O&M's, warranties, and other project documentation.
Track material orders and deliveries to ensure timely availability of equipment and supplies.
Monitor project progress and report on key performance indicators (schedule, cost, quality).
Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and codes.
Maintain project documentation (field logs, inspection reports, project progress photos, etc.) and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
Participate in job-site visits and meetings, as needed.
Assist in commissioning and project closeout activities.
Develop and draft plans with project managers.
Track and report key metrics to reduce expenses and improve efficiency.
Negotiate and network with vendors to implement long-term savings plans.
Conduct field reviews and inspections of ongoing and completed work to verify competency and ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and project specifications.
Develop effective communications strategies and systems for all divisions.
Assist in developing, drafting, and enforcing project specific safety measures.
Assist Project Manager(s) in identifying and eliminating risks or project obstacles.
Create and maintain meeting notes with subcontractors and clients.

Process Engineer I/II

The Process Engineer will serve as a technical resource for the processing areas at Chobani's Idaho production facility. In this role, you'll support a fast-paced manufacturing environment through cross-functional collaboration. You'll provide hands-on technical support for daily operations- leading troubleshooting, root cause investigations, KPI creation, heavy data analysis, and proactive process monitoring.
This is a full-time, onsite role at our Twin Falls, Idaho facility. Relocation assistance is available. Please note: this position is not eligible for hybrid or remote work.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering preferred; other engineering disciplines considered.
1-7 years of plant manufacturing or capital project experience.
Background in hygienic process design; dairy strongly preferred, but food & beverage, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing also considered.
Experience with cultured dairy products and aseptic processing is a plus.
Skilled in developing technical documents and reports.
Proficiency in equipment sizing (pumps, piping, and other processing systems).
Familiarity with PLCs and logic controls in manufacturing equipment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
Experience with process data trending and analysis (SEEQ preferred).
Strong communication skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast-paced setting.

Job Summary:
