Position Summary:
The Team Member 2 role within our manufacturing plants supports our overall production team as they drive production to the highest safety, quality and efficiency standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with and maintain all GMP/PPE/Safety, SQF, HACCP & Sanitation guidelines and processes.
Understand Production Schedules and key production data (i.e: lot numbers, SKU's, etc.) and Ability to understand current production flow and product specifications
Ability to recognize inconsistencies per product specifications (i.e: Foreign objects, miss-labeling, etc.)
Remove any defects from the produce that are undesirable in the finished product
Must execute de-coring/trimming/chopping/mixing based on product specifications
Knowledge & understanding of how to maintain a safe work environment
Validate that printed labels accurately reflect production work orders
Works safely around moving equipment & conveyors in wet environment
Maintain an uninterrupted flow of packaging and sorting finished goods
Clean and trim vegetables per Quality Control development specifications
Operate shrink wrap machine (manual/automated) and Operate a hand pallet jack, Manual palletization of finished goods and Manually pack finished goods
Communicate verbally & in writing
Maintain a clean work area
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of GMP's , Safety Guidelines and HACCP & Sanitation guidelines & processes
Reading, Writing, Speaking English Preferred.
Willingness to work in a cold environment.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Able to work a flexible schedule & Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to understand plant KPI's (production, quality & safety).
Ability to be crossed trained & multitask in multiple positions.
GED/High School Diploma Preferred.
Physical Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, this position entails use of ladders and catwalks to reach production equipment, regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to extreme cold for extended periods of time. The associate frequently works in high, precarious places. The associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

SUMMARY
GENERAL FUNCTION: The K7 Stacker is responsible for assisting the Operator and assistant will all activities associated with running the rotarty die cutters including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.
Responsible for running the pre-feeder effectively and not allowing the machine to stop
Performs incoming inspection ahead of time to ensure material is adequate for running. Caliper/ Warp/ Size, etc.
Keeps tags from units to ensure we have consumed all units correctly

Gathers proper dunnage for operator
Assists with setting up print and die cut sections of die cutters accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques
Ensures all bolts on cutting dies are in place and tighly secured
Understands the zero position of the cutting die section as well as the printing units
Inspects anilox rolls for damage , before and after proper training
Understands and Performs a one box set up
Inspects all dies before and after each run to ensure that any necessary repairs are made before the next run
Monitors box quality, including but not limited to lose liner,warp, correct size, and print throughout the run
Achieves 100,000msf per hour on thru run
Maximizes the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed
Assists with necessary report in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to Production, Data, Machine Operational Status, waste, downtime Safety Data, Quality Data
Assists Operator with maintenance work orders to Supervision for needed repairs
Interacts with the ink technician to find optimal color sequence and color matching

The Post Stacker is responsible for all activities associated with running the folder gluer including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.
JOB FUNCTION/PURPOSE
· Assists Operator with set up of all folding and gluing operations of the machine in accordance with the proper setup techniques.
· Assists with achieving 5-10 minute set up time for straight line after proper training.
· Assists with achieving 19,000 pieces per hour on a consistent basis
· Minimizes waste of sheet stock and glue.
· Assists Operator to properly operate the machine to run efficiently and produce quality products.
· Ensures diagonal and corrugator scores are broken when necessary.
· Cross trains in all post job positions.
· Utilizes the “Employee Development Form”
· Runs a variety of box styles and sizes such as, auto bottoms, four corner trays, and straight-line glue
· Maximizes the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.
· Checks quality of boxes during the run, including mis-slotted boxes, loose liner, misprints, and any other defects.
· Assists to complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data and Quality Data.
· Makes recommendations for custom tools to help speed up the set up. Example: two knuckles with custom tool versus making folds with various knuckles
· Assists with turning in maintenance work orders to Supervisor for needed repairs.
· Performs Preventative Maintenance

· Reports any unusual schedule to Supervisor.
· Cleans machine on a regular basis.
