+ Safely operating machinery

+ Accurately reading gauges, tape measurer and other test equipment

+ Accurately completing quality and administrative document checks to ensure specific directions are followed
+ This person will also be assigned to clean-up functions such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, as well as picking up and shredding scrap.

The incumbent provides technical assistance to Production and Maintenance in resolving day-to-day production problems and provides technical knowledge/assistance to Engineering for development projects involving new or modified equipment/processes.
The incumbent will preferably possess a 2 year degree in a relevant field. Experience in the production processes as well as in products and process capabilities is highly preferred. S/he must also possess above-average technical skills and maintain an up-to-date basic knowledge of all plant processes as each area is closely dependent upon the others. The ability to understand geometric tolerances and how these concepts help assure that customer specifications are met.
The incumbent must possess strong technical trouble-shooting skills and be able to work either as part of a team or independently, as the situation dictates.
