Assemble, line, fill and seal 640-pound boxes of cheese according to SOPs.
Operate packaging room production equipment according to SOPs.
Monitor box weight targets according to cheese types.

Complete and maintain appropriate paperwork and documentation to ensure accurate record keeping.
Actively participate in extraneous prevention and solids recovery.

The Packaging Maintenance Technician is responsible for keeping packaging machines running and repairing any problems when they are discovered. Maintenance Technicians will usually be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks. This position will be carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Coordinate communication between operations, quality, procurement, and other departments.
Support onboarding documentation and training record tracking for operational staff.
Manage inventory records, data entry, and transaction accuracy within ERP systems.
Documentation & Data Management
Prepare inspection reports, deviation reports, nonconformance documentation, and audit files.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry for quality events, production records, and inventory transactions.
Maintain organized, compliant document control systems.
Assist in digitalization and process standardization efforts as required.
Continuous Improvement
Participate in AS9100 and continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify opportunities to streamline administrative or quality processes.
Support cross-functional projects aimed at improving product quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical/administrative certification preferred.
15+ years of experience in quality, operations, production admin, or related roles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and data-entry systems (ERP experience is a plus).
Ability to read and interpret specifications, technical drawings, or work instructions.
Strong organization, documentation, and communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
Combination of office and production-floor environments.
May require occasional physical tasks depending on inspection duties.
Use of PPE as required.
