The Mehoopany Procter & Gamble Plant operates 7-days per week. We rely on local talent and relocation is generally not paid. Technicians work any day of the week, including weekends. Work on weekends may be as overtime or as part of the Technician's normal schedule. Changes in business volume and production requirements can cause the plant to occasionally change the length of work shifts or the rotation schedule. **About the role**
The Operations Technician is responsible for the overall safe operation, maintenance, and performance of a landfill gas to Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) processing facility. This position requires 25%-50% travel per month (First 12 months in the position will require 50% travel per month when hired

**Key accountabilities**

+ Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on plant instrumentation and equipment.
+ Detect and correct faulty and malfunctioning mechanical and electrical components, devices and equipment.

+ Diagnose equipment malfunctions during emergencies and direct activities to restore normal operation or to shut down malfunctioning unit.
+ Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters.
+ Troubleshoot and repair electrical system wiring from control wiring up to 480 volts. Install, remove and modify equipment.
+ Notify Lead Operation Technician and Regional Manager of shutdown or major changes in power output of unit.
+ Maintain all plant equipment and structures in accordance with manufactures and Aria Energy guidelines.
+ Maintain a clean work space including the plant building, control room, rest room, break room and grounds.
+ Write routine reports and correspondence.

The Packaging Technician will be responsible for safely and effectively preparing, filling, packaging and labeling our food safe medical cannabis oils and liquids for ingestion, inhalation, solid dose and topical applications. May retrieve tissue from the designated location and completes the necessary log documentation for proper traceability of tissue.

May work on more than one process at a time in separate locations while maintaining proper aseptic technique.
Transfer tissue to freezer for storage and completes necessary documentation as needed.
May prepare chemicals in appropriate ratios for processing activities and cleaning solutions.

SPECIFIC DUTIES/FUNCTIONAL TASKS
Use of tape measure, and ability to measure accurately.
Perform product specific math, involving adding and subtracting of fractions.
Setup and operation of metal shears, punch presses, and press brakes, using Lock out/Tag out procedures, and prescribed forming tooling.
Setup and operation of wire straightening and crimping equipment, using Lock out/Tag out procedures, and prescribed forming tooling.
Operation of custom manufacturing equipment to perform product line tasks.
Documentation of quality inspection and labor records in accordance with procedures
Ability to read and comprehend job traveler, with all specific and pertinent details for each production order
Recognition and selection of raw materials specific to product lines to meet customer requirements (wire type, diameter, metal gauge)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Product is generally lifted between floor and waist height, and majority of lifting as done as part of a two person team. Tables, lift carts, fork trucks, and cranes are available as needed.

Job Summary
To assist in the provision of engineering and project management focused on extending and preserving ED's distribution system capability to serve both new and existing customers in a reliable, safe, timely, and economic manner. Resolve complex service problems.
**This position is fully onsite 5 days a week in Wilkes-Barre, PA.**
Duties and Responsibilities
Design medium expansions to the distribution system to serve new customers and new load of existing customers. Meet with residential and small single/three phase business customers or their agent(s) to identify their service requirements, explain ED's requirements, and process for extending service, and authorize new service entrance locations. Produce the necessary design documents to accomplish the project, obtain the necessary right-of-way and permits, stake out the project in the field, deliver the design to C&M, and schedule the construction to be completed in time to meet the customer's needs.
Identify and design medium distribution system projects to improve the safety, reliability, and adequacy of service to existing customers. This includes secondary modernization, re-sectionalizing, load balancing, transformer and recloser change out, and small distribution line conversion, relocations and end of life replacement projects. Produce the necessary design documents to accomplish these projects, obtain the required rights-of-way and permits, stake out the project in the field, and deliver the design to C&M in a timely manner
Troubleshoot and resolve service problems such as fluctuating lights, stray voltage, and adequate voltage. Meet with customers to resolve issues regarding clearance, location, and condition of ED facilities and other related matters.
Assist in the restoration of service due to storm damage or equipment failure. Provide coverage for other technicians during their absence. Review all mapping updates resulting from work produced to assure accurate representation. Perform other related duties.
Follow up/monitor customer service questions and confirm timely UGI standard installation of facilities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of UGI's distribution line construction standards, methods, and equipment.
Knowledge of National Electric Safety Code and National Electric Code. PA 1-Call, and OSHA regulations pertaining to electric distribution work. Knowledge of UGI's safety rules
Knowledge of electrical distribution equipment & power requirements
Knowledge of UGI's Electric Service Tariff.
Ability to work independently and manage projects from start to completion. Ability to adapt standard practices to meet unique customer needs.
Education and Experience
An Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree is preferred. Extent of experience will be considered if education is not in-line with the education requirement.

This position reports to the Quality Lead (direct daily supervision) and Quality Manager (functional leadership and performance management)
Requirements:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
NOTE: An employee assigned to this title shall perform a majority, but may not perform all, of the duties listed in this . Conversely, minor level duties performed on the job may not be listed.
Perform routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with specifications.
Monitor production operations to verify adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and food safety standards.
Collect, label, and review product samples.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality assurance records.
Report deviations or nonconformities promptly and work with production to implement corrective actions.
Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and food safety.
Calibrate, operate, and maintain equipment and testing instruments.
Participate in internal and external audits, including USDA, FDA, SQF, or other certification programs.
Support training of production employees on quality standards, food safety, and hygiene practices.
Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements and regulatory guidelines.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
(a) Completion of a high school, or general equivalency diploma; or,
(b) Associate or Bachelor's degree in food science, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred; and,
(c) Previous experience in food processing, manufacturing, or laboratory environment strongly preferred; and.
(d) Knowledge of food safety systems (HACCP, GMP, SQF/FDA) desirable; and,
(e) Proficiency in SAP preferred; and,
(f) Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred; and,
(g) Computer Proficiency (Microsoft Office, data entry systems
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The employee is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role requires working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to cold temperatures and raw meat products. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to moving mechanical parts.
The noise level in the work environment can be moderate or loud when entering the plant.
Employees are required to wear proper food safe, steel toe shoes, hair net and beard net, nitrile gloves, frock, bump cap, hat, and proper hearing protection while working in certain areas.
