Responsible to perform a variety of specific duties, both within the store and assigned store locations, under the supervision of the Store Manager. General duties include: unloading of merchandise trucks, received DC merchandise inventory control, and preparing all merchandise for display. Maintains cleanliness and order in the warehouse at all times. Performs furniture touch ups and repairs. Ensures timely execution of moving merchandise to the sales floor. Insures inside and outside of building as well as surrounding grounds up keep and cleanliness. Maintains close communication with store managers to insure customer service consistent with W.S. Badcock standards.

Qualifications/ Skills:
* Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred
* Familiarity with warehouse management systems and materials handling processes is advantageous
* Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment operation is a plus
* Experience with heavy lifting and safe handling of materials is essential
* Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to warehouse safety is beneficial
* Prior experience as a warehouse supervisor is an asset but not required.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
* Health and Safety rules and regulations must be followed, and an understanding of SDS sheets is important
* Ability to read labels on chemicals used for proper applications and environmental regulations
* Must be trustworthy, honest, and loyal
* Valid driver's license
* MVR/Driving Record clear and in good standing
