Purpose Statement
This position will support the shipment of goods produced and the received goods and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production/storage of goods.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
* Perform shipping and receiving duties
* Responsible for inbound/outbound deliveries.
* Inspects shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
* HS/GED required. College degree preferred; and three to five years' experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Must have excellent computer skills and experience in extracting and analyzing data using information systems reporting tools such as Excel.
* Efficient with all Microsoft Office products. Experience using QAD, SAP, and Outlook a plus.

Material handler job in Weslaco, TX
* Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment for all employees. * Ensure timely, accurate, and careful delivery of product from storage, production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles using a forklift. * Safe operation of power lift LP forklift for the purpose of handling, loading, and unloading product.
* Must be able to use computers and label printers.
* Responsible for using scanners and inventory control systems to pull orders, keep production lines supplied, and re-stock inventory racks.
* Adhere to safe work practices and ensure that product quality is maintained.
* Complete other duties as assigned.
Responsabilidades del puesto:
* Responsable de mantener un ambiente de trabajo seguro para todos los empleados.
* Garantizar la entrega oportuna, precisa y cuidadosa del producto desde el almacenamiento, áreas de producción, muelles de carga y vehículos de entrega utilizando un montacargas.
* Operación segura de montacargas LP para manejar, cargar y descargar producto.
* Debe ser capaz de utilizar computadoras e impresoras de etiquetas.

* Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to meet goals and deadlines.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Good interpersonal skills are required.
* Certification is preferred at the time of hire.
* Basic knowledge and understanding of computers required.
* One (1) year of previous forklift experience preferred.
