Job Summary The Material Handler is responsible for transporting, organizing, and tracking materials throughout the production process. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring timely delivery of components and maintaining accurate inventory records. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and effective communication with team members. Tasks & Responsibilities · Keep up daily material needs of production, including maintaining documentation of material moving in and out of the shop. · Maintain organization throughout the shop and yard with all materials. · Assist in traceability of non-inventory related items by working directly with shop workers to sign out required items. (i.e. welding wire, safety harness, and welding tools.) Competencies: · Must be proficient in movement of goods · Must be able to climb and complete some work on ladders · Must be able to lift material up to 40 pounds. · Must be able to wear personal protective equipment such as glasses, gloves, etc. · Must be able to properly use and care for assigned tools and equipment · Must be able to adhere to standards and perform a quality job in a safe manner within an acceptable time. · Must be able to work variable hours. Position Summary The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through timely and precise inventory transactions. This role supports receiving, production, mixing, and shipping by ensuring inventory movements are correctly recorded, reconciled, and communicated. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working across systems and teams. Key Responsibilities Inventory Control & Transactions Execute & monitor daily inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, issues, adjustments, and cycle counts Maintain accurate inventory records within NetSuite (WMS/MRP) Perform Root Cause Analysis, completing reconciliation for any inventory discrepancies, variances, or identified trends that impact inventory accuracy Support inventory movements between the warehouse, production, mixing, and staging areas Receiving & Documentation Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips Enter receiving transactions accurately and promptly Ensure proper lot tracking, expiration dates, and labeling compliance File and maintain inventory documentation per company standards Cycle Counts, Physical Inventory, & Auditing Perform routine cycle counts and assist with full physical inventories Document variances and escalate discrepancies for resolution Support internal audits and inventory accuracy initiatives Cross-Functional Support Communicate inventory issues or shortages to Operations, Production, Accounting/Finance, and Purchasing Support production by ensuring materials are accurately issued and available Partner with Quality and Warehouse teams to maintain GMP-compliant inventory practices Perform process audits to validate that the systemic and physical inventory movement meets requirements (SOP, NetSuite, etc.) Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 2-4 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing preferred Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in data entry Basic computer skills and experience using inventory, WMS, MRP, SAP, or ERP systems (or willingness to learn) Ability to lift to 40 lbs consistently Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with lot-controlled or regulated inventory (CPG, food, cosmetics, chemical manufacturing) Familiarity with cycle counting and reconciliation processes Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, WMS, or MRP or similar Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus How We'll Support You: We mentioned changing the world, right?
