**Essential Functions**
TheHELC Assistant Teacher is a training position and assists teachers with the essential functions of the position. TheHELC Teacher assumes responsibility for the essential functions of the position to include, but not limited to:

Job Summary

**State of Alabama Teacher Salary Matrix**
Salaries are determined by level of education and years of experience.
High School Diploma: $32,000 - $40,000
Associate's Degree: $34,200 - $42,000
Bachelor's Degree: $36,200 - $44,000
Master's Degree: $38,200 - $46,000
Teachers are paid bi-weekly, and are classified as non-exempt by the Fair Labor Standards Act.
