Support student comprehension during core instructional time, inside of the classroom. Tutors will work with students one-on-one as well as in small groups as directed by the math teacher. Tutors will meet with math teachers to determine the most successful path for providing support to students in the Algebra I classrooms. (Note: Successful completion of Algebra I in high school is critical to students staying on track to graduate on time. POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title: High School Science Teacher
School/Department: Concord High School
Supervisor: Principal and Assistant Principal
Terms of Employment: Per Collective Bargaining Agreement
POSITION PURPOSE: Teach students to be competent in basic and/or specialized scientific skills and understand the structure of science. Motivate students to apply an understanding of science and skills in the solution of practical problems, encourage students to develop their special talents in the field of science.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
Instruct students in subject matter, utilizing various teaching methods, such as lecture and demonstration, and use audiovisual aids and other materials to supplement presentations.
Review, analyze and evaluate the student's history, background, learning ability and assessment to meet the individual educational needs.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop lesson plans and research different curriculum methods to implement that is coherent, purposeful and engaging.
Prepare teaching outline for the course of study, assign lessons, and correct homework assignments.
Administer tests to evaluate student's progress, record results, and issue reports to inform parents of progress.
Maintain discipline in the classroom and in other school activities.
Discuss student's academic and behavior problems with parents and suggest remedial action.
Participate in faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops.
Keep attendance and grade records.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Appropriate certification as required by the Indiana Department of Education.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, excellent teaching skills, interpersonal relations skills, time management and organizational skills
Must be compassionate, patient, observant, detail-oriented, creative and think outside the box.
Coach students individually or as a group; communicate with parents and other teachers about a student's progress
Other qualifications as deemed desirable by the School Board.

Under the direction of a Building School Nutrition Manager, prepare and cook a wide variety of foods following standard recipes to achieve required taste and appearance standards; assist in other food service areas.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assists in storing unused food and supplies.
Maintains and operate food service equipment (ovens, grills, steam table, cash register, and other cafeteria equipment) and areas in a clean and sanitary condition.
Operates standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
Observes health and safety regulations.
Meets schedules and timelines.
Prepares and serve food in accordance with health and sanitation regulations.
Performs related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Knowledge of methods of cooking, preparing and serving food in large quantities.
Knowledge of serve or assist in serving children during lunch and/or breakfast.
