In the MWSU Center for Academic Support, tutoring is provided to assist students. All CAS writing tutors are hired because of their knowledge of the disciplines they will be tutoring. The main purpose is to effectively tutor MWSU students one-on-one or in small group settings. Secondary roles include staying up-to-date on discipline knowledge and light clerical responsibilities. Administer the Quick Phonics Screener to determine which phonetic skills members know. Develop engaging and enriching lesson plans which correlate with QPS skill sets.
