Job Description
Compensation: The salary for this role is $19.00-35.00/hour based upon experience. There are additional incentives for this role based upon performance.
About the Role:
The Technician role is full time or part-time and is an hourly position based on needs of the business. The Technician is primarily responsible for conducting basic vehicle diagnostics and performing routine vehicle repair and maintenance services in accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications. This position is expected to deliver exceptional 5 Star service to our guests, through effective communication of vehicle issues and proposed solutions, as well as consistently meeting guest expectations for time commitments and quality.
Responsibilities:
* Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to properly identify required repairs.
* Consistently complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection process, on every guest vehicle, identifying, documenting, and communicating additional needed services and repairs; Audit courtesy inspections performed by the General Service Technicians
* Assist in inventory management to include pulling tires and parts, unloading and stocking inventory.
* Assist with all general store duties, ensuring the store is in excellent condition and maintained to Monro standards for cleanliness and consistently in guest ready condition.
* Consistently perform service(s) in accordance with Monro's safety standards including but not limited to Monro's Wheel Torque, Oil safety and compliance procedures
* Test drive vehicles in accordance with Monro's Road Test policy, including consistently utilizing our dedicated test drive routes, while maintaining all local traffic and safety laws
* Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures, Governmental standards including environmental codes and ANSI/OSHA standards. Consistent use of all required safety standards set forth in training and policies and procedures.
* Maintain technical knowledge and capabilities to ensure proficiency through the timely completion of all required Monro University training courses and modules.
* Operate, utilize, and maintain all equipment in a safe manner in accordance with Monro and equipment manufacturer guidelines including but not limited to lifts, welders, brake lathes, etc.

* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Automotive training including basic car maintenance and repair or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
* ASE certification and State Inspection license (where applicable) preferred.
* Must possess a current valid driver's license and have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and have the ability to operate customer's vehicles to conduct test drives.
* Required to own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro's tool purchase program.

Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts.
Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems such as power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics.
Verifies vehicle performance by conducting test drives; adjusting systems worked on.
Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards as needed.

Communicate with customer and/or sales staff in understandable terms the repairs needed to the vehicle and the value that comes with the repairs.
Perform on the road repairs.

About the Role:
The Technician role is full time or part-time and is an hourly position based on needs of the business. About the Position of Automotive Alignment Technician
Automotive Alignment technicians use the latest equipment to align newly-mounted tires and wheels on customer's vehicles. By measuring and adjusting caster, camber, toe and thrust angles, our Automotive Alignment Technicians reduce customer's tire wear and ensure serviced vehicles travel straight and true. Mavis's Alignment Technicians also complete state-mandated inspections, oil and filter changes and flat repairs, and perform any other required automotive service or vehicle repairs to customer vehicles.

Qualifications
We recruit team members who share our commitment to providing complete customer satisfaction and delivering the highest quality service. To be eligible for the position of Automotive Alignment Technicians you must (1) be at least 18 years of age; (2) be legally authorized to work in the United States; and (3) possess 1 year of experience and/or training in dismounting, mounting, rotating and balancing tires or any combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. In addition, it is preferred that Alignment Technicians possess a state inspection license.
As an active position, Automotive Alignment Technicians are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle and tire maintenance and repair. Alignment Technicians must regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.

The distribution CDL A Driver is responsible for the delivery of tires, parts, supplies and equipment to customers for assigned territory which includes loading and unloading the truck. Adheres to internal controls, policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for loading, delivering and unloading product to assigned accounts in the most efficient manner while complying with all the rules of the road.
Keeps a current and valid CDL A driver's license with a driving record acceptable to our corporate insurers and Loss Prevention Supervisor.
Responsible for accuracy of delivered product, accounting of customer payment, signatures and monies collected. Processes invoices accurately using the POS system.
Maintain current certifications and licenses in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
Manage accurate records of customer returns for credit, including all related documentation.
Represent Sullivan Tire in a polite, professional manner at all times. It is imperative to treat all motorists as future Sullivan Tire customers.
Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
Requirements:
Education/Experience:
Minimum high school diploma with 2-4 years of industry related driving experience.
Must be able to lift up to 125 lbs.
Valid CDL license with Department of Transportation medical card required.
