Key Functions:
Perform service/preventative maintenance, run inspections, diagnostics tests, and repair/maintain mobile equipment and vehicles for a lumber manufacturing facility
Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in diesel/gas engines, air brake equipment, running gear and hydraulics
Rivet, bolt, glue, braze or weld to fabricate, modify or design replacement parts for equipment
Fabricate, cut, shape, and perform finish operations using various types of materials

* Performs scheduled and minor repairs to elevators and hoistway electrical systems which includes but is not limited to replacing defective lights; push buttons; covers; switches; electric eyes; door operator motors; wiring; gongs/bells; indicator sockets covers; safety edge and electric eye cords.
* Performs scheduled maintenance and minor repairs to elevator and hoistway mechanical systems, which includes but is not limited to replacing door rollers and gibs; release rollers and release roller assemblies; defective belts and cables under supervision; adjusting doors; repairing/replacing door closure assemblies; adjusting leveling apparatus and inspecting all cables.
* Responds to all calls and breakdown of assigned elevators in a prompt and timely manner, with maximum response time of one hour, and all emergency calls upon any elevator.
* Guides, trains, and oversees the work of the Elevator Mechanic Assistant(s). Assists other department personnel in completion of more extensive repairs within all areas.
* Gathers data and submits written reports.
* Perform all duties in accordance with established protocols and industry safety standards.
* Actively participates in ongoing department training. Pursues specialized training and certifications to stay abreast of industry changes and to advance expertise. Job description:
The HVAC Mechanic will be responsible to provide HVAC preventative maintenance, diagnosis and repairs for established site at Government military facility as well as on demand service using accepted industry standard methods and following the manufacturers' and/or Federal Government guidelines on facility HVAC equipment. The Mechanic will respond to client requests assigned in a safe, efficient, clean and professional manner.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for performing work safely and reporting to the Project Manager any observed safety and security problems
Maintain accurate lists, security and stocking levels of HVAC service tools and consumable supplies
Installation of HVAC equipment and systems
Perform preventative maintenance to commercial HVAC equipment including but not limited to chillers, heat pumps, split systems, roof top units, air handling units, pumps, cooling towers, VAV systems, etc.
Any reasonable assignment or request related to the building operation as directed by the Client, any company executive, the Project Manager
Be available to respond to emergency calls and administer an after-hours emergency response call list
Job Requirements:
Minimum of five (5) years' experience working on HVAC systems and associated equipment
NATE certification (required)
Universal CFC Certification (required)
High school diploma or equivalent
HVAC License (preferred)
HVAC Excellence or UA Star Certification (preferred)
Communicate effectively in English in speaking and writing
Advanced HVAC training and manufacturer training
Extensive technical knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning maintenance and repairs
Ability to diagnose refrigeration systems, air distribution systems and equipment controls
Able to work Monday-Friday with occasional overtime during afternoons, evenings and weekends as needed for emergencies
Must be able to respond to after-hours emergency calls
Good physical condition with ability to lift 75 lbs. and possessing good fine motor coordination and ability to withstand exposure to dust, fumes, heights, and confined spaces
U.S. Citizen or approved registered alien
Ability to pass drug screening and Federal Government criminal background check
Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation): The HVAC Technician is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as hot and/or cold weather conditions, proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals. Ensure our fleet meets aircraft standards as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

Position Requirements
Minimum Age: 18
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
Valid state driver's license; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this position
Ability to differentiate colors such as: red, green, yellow, blue, black, brown, white and orange
Ability to lift items weighing up to 60 lbs.
Willing and able to work rotating shifts including, nights, holidays, weekends and days off
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Initiate and update checkout/return records.
Assemble, place in service, and perform calendar inspections on oxygen mask assemblies, survival vest, helmets, and other related safety/survival equipment.
Perform aircraft conditional and special inspections of installed safety/survival equipment.
Maintain OOMA for parachute and personal equipment for accountability and inspection due dates.
Adjust, maintain, and perform minor repairs on sewing machines.
Construct fabric items using a sewing machine and performs hand tacking on fabrics.
Remove, install, and repair slide fasteners, grommets, snap fasteners, and Velcro closures on personal survival equipment and other types of fabrics.

Basic Qualifications:
Completion of U.S. Navy Aircrew Survival Equipment man “A” school or another military, civilian, or manufacturer schools with equivalent curriculum required. Must possess a mechanical aptitude. Must be able to meet any Government/Company licensing/qualification requirements for the position. Must be able to obtain the level of security clearance required by the Government.
Must have two (2) years experience in aviators personal survival equipment and aircraft installed safety/survival equipment maintenance.
