Full-time Description Mechanical Design Engineers involved in the quality of the features offered in our products are responsible for researching mechanical technologies to use in improving our motion control product offering and designing their manufacturing processes. As a Mechanical Design Engineer on Oklo's Fuel Fabrication team, you'll be responsible for engineering design solutions that bring our advanced reactor technology to life. You'll focus on technical validation, analysis, and performance of the design. You'll work on high-impact technical challenges, designing manufacturing equipment components and mechanical systems that comprise Oklo's fuel manufacturing facilities. You'll ensure designs meet demanding performance, safety, and regulatory standards while collaborating closely with designers, analysts, and fabricators to bring systems from concept to commissioning. Travel Requirements This position requires routine overnight travel and routine travel within the workday. Overnight travel is expected once a month or every other month.
