MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * High school diploma or GED required. * Current Basic Life Support certification for healthcare providers from one of the following organizations is required. * American Heart Association * American Red Cross * Medical Assistant Certificate from one of the following organizations required. * CMA - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) * RMA - American Medical Technologists (AMT) * CCMA- National Health Career Association (NHA) * NRCMA through National Association of Health Professionals (NAHP) * NCMA- National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) * Prior professional experience as a Medical Assistant is a definite plus. * Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred * Valid driver's license and auto insurance as traveling to different clinic locations may be required at times.
