    About the Company We are seeking a skilled and dependable Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our mobile diagnostic laboratory team operating throughout Washington State. The MLT will perform moderate complexity testing in compliance with CLIA, DOH, and OSHA regulations, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely laboratory results for patient care. About the Role This is a hands-on, field-based position where you will work in a fully equipped mobile lab performing on-site chemistry, hematology, immunoassay, and molecular tests using point-of-care analyzers. Responsibilities Perform moderate complexity laboratory tests on patient specimens, including: Chemistry (Piccolo Xpress) Hematology (HemoScreen) Diabetes Management (Afinion 2, DCA Vantage) Immunoassays (FastPack IP) Urinalysis (Clinitek Status+) Molecular Testing (GeneXpert Xpress) Adhere to all CLIA and state regulatory requirements for moderate complexity testing. Perform and document quality control (QC), calibration, and maintenance for all analyzers. Recognize and troubleshoot analytical and pre-analytical errors. Maintain accurate and organized test logs, patient records, and QC documentation. Prepare, label, and store specimens appropriately for confirmatory or reference testing. Follow proper biohazard and infection control protocols at all times. Assist with inventory management and maintain reagent supplies in the mobile lab. Communicate effectively with the Program Manager, Lab Director, and Clinical Staff regarding results and any issues impacting testing quality. Participate in proficiency testing and continuing education as required by CLIA and Washington State DOH. Provide support in phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's or associate degree in a chemical/biological/clinical lab field, medical lab technology, or nursing from an accredited school required. Certification preferred (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent). Minimum 1 year of experience performing moderate complexity testing preferred. Knowledge of CLIA, HIPAA, and OSHA standards. Valid Washington State driver's license and ability to travel to various testing sites. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a small-team environment. Preferred Skills Familiarity with the following analyzers: Piccolo Xpress, DCA Vantage, Afinion 2, HemoScreen, FastPack IP, GeneXpert Xpress, and Clinitek Status+. Experience working in a mobile lab, urgent care, or physician office lab. Comfort working in a dynamic environment with changing patient locations and schedules. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (instruments and supplies). Ability to stand or move for extended periods in mobile environments. Comfort working in a small, mobile laboratory space. Schedule 2 Full-time On-Call Night Shift 10-12hr shifts (rotating schedule) 1 Full-time Days (4 rotating- 10hr days) Mobile route across assigned Washington counties.
