**About the Role**
+ Merchandisers are responsible for stocking and displaying our products on shelves/coolers at large accounts within a set territory.

* Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks to move cases from store room to sales floor
* Have the necessary POS needed for the day on the truck, return unused POS to the warehouse promptly.
* Maintain all administrative work in a neat and legible fashion. Copy key personnel on market conditions, refused displays and other customer issues.
* Present promotional activities and suggestions to customers as instructed by the company. Survey the account for merchandising opportunities. Have all current sales support sheets available for opportunities to improve Republic's representation in the store.
* Consult with store managers, buyers and/or sales representative to determine appropriate placement of displays or products.
* Submit daily activity report and merchandising reports. Reports competitive activity and pricing as it occurs to immediate supervisor.
* Write sales orders, on occasion, as needed.
* Cover open sales territory, as needed and as applicable, due to absence or vacation.
* Operate motor vehicle to various assigned accounts within an assigned geographic region.
* This position could require the employee to work some nights, some weekends, and/or some holidays.
What you bring to RNDC
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), preferably one year merchandising experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires a current, valid state driver's license, ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements as defined by the Company and Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state. The employee must regularly lift up to 50 pounds and will occasionally lift up to 100 pounds. We are an Equal Opportunity employer.
