Key Responsibilities and Job Duties Responsible to man Motor controls, VFD's, instrumentation, PLCs and Graphical Terminal Interfaces. Lead maintenance activities for assigned shift, which includes assign, re-assign and direct preventative maintenance activities. Perform installation and troubleshooting of Motor controls, VFD's, instrumentation, and graphical terminal interfaces. Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance systems for all production equipment and/or batching/processing equipment, including audits/verification of execution of predictive and preventative maintenance practices for all production equipment and systematic preventative maintenance, including electrical or mechanical adjustments, inspections and minor repairs. Act as a resource for mechanics in identification and correction of potential equipment problems and troubleshooting and maintaining production lines and/or batching/processing equipment. Properly perform all necessary maintenance tasks to production lines (i.e. rebuilds, welding, valve, pipe and solenoid selection, etc.). Maintain accurate records and logs as required. Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) in the execution of the work schedule. Ensures the area is maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly fashion. Maintain proper safety conditions of equipment including immediately correcting or reporting safety issues to your supervisor. Perform quality checks and accurate quality documentation as required. Actively assist with planning/scheduling and storeroom staff for tracking work orders, parts, and purchase requisitions. Identify and assist in the implementation of projects as required.
