Coordinates the implementation and evaluation of clinical standards of practice, performance improvement projects and service standards. Seeks input from management and implements recommendations in the process of developing and administering budgets; understands key financial terms and budget concepts; understands the expense and revenue aspects of the budgets; controls operational costs. Manages the budgets on a day-to-day basis. Responsible for recruitment, interviewing, and selection of staff at assigned sites. Coordinates and conducts orientation programs. Schedules staff for inpatient and outpatient services; maintains personnel files. Serves as resource to Clinical Nutrition staff. Develops and implements performance improvement activities; reports these activities to designated committees. Represents and participates in performance improvement teams as needed. Preferred LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certified Master Automobile Technician. Preferred Licensed Pennsylvania inspection instructor. Preferred EXPERIENCE Six (6) years' experience in the automotive sector with specific experience in the areas to be taught. Required Teaching experience at the secondary or postsecondary level. Preferred Service management experience for a major automotive manufacturer or automotive dealership. Preferred ABILITIES AND SKILLS Developed organizational skills. Required Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in written form. Required Possession of a valid driver's license. Required Responsibilities Instruct and evaluate students in upper level automotive courses (300+ level). Provide instruction in automotive technology management, customer service, personnel and facility management, strategic planning, workforce development, alternative fueled vehicles, and the Senior Project. Maintain accurate written records of student performance. Complete student rosters and return to the School office as required. Physical Standards and Special Job Features May require some lifting of parts, etc. Pay Transparency The part-time rate for 2025/26 will be the greater of $1160 per credit or $773 per contact hour, prorated for student enrollment under seven. The approved substitute pay rate is $48.31 per hour during the first week of substituting and the prorated part-time teacher rate for consecutive substitute assignments that exceed one week.
