DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The technologist must be able to effectively explain the procedure to the patient and be sure they are relaxed and at ease during the exam and provide care to the patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist. Prepares patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient; adjusting immobilization devices; moving equipment into specified position; adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors. Maintains radiology supplies inventory by checking stock to establish inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies. Identifies opportunities for corrective action and process improvement providing recommendations and contributes to meeting department and hospital targets for quality and safety. Reports "near misses" and inputs errors promptly into appropriate hospital patient safety reporting system to improve processes and identify trends. In this role, you'll perform advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures that help radiologists detect abnormalities, diagnose conditions, and provide life-changing care to patients. Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality MRI procedures and ensure accurate, safe imaging results. Prepare and position patients for MRI exams; explain procedures and administer contrast when necessary. Maintain and monitor patient data, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
