Duties and Responsibilities:
As a BPA, you will be part of our 60,000+ workforce that strives to protect the American people by safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing the nation's economic prosperity. Being a BPA makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) profession.
Typical assignments include:

Performing physical searches of detained individuals, their vehicles, and their immediate surroundings for weapons, contraband, currency, and other evidence.
Apprehending, physically restraining, or working with law enforcement officials to identify or apprehend violators of state, federal, or immigration laws.
Proficient in the use of firearms, preparing investigative reports, serving court orders (e.g., warrants, subpoenas, etc.), and gathering evidence for criminal cases prosecuted through the court system.

Job Summary: Housing Case Manager (HCM) provides supportive services and rental assistance to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in finding housing through the Rapid Rehousing (RRH) permanent housing placement program. The HCM will be responsible for assisting individuals and families experiencing homelessness in finding housing promptly through Rapid Re-Housing (RRH) services. The HCM will be responsible for assisting low-come individuals and families to prevent or end homelessness by focusing on one-time and short-term financial assistance through Homeless Prevention (HP) services. The HCM will work with program participants to eliminate barriers to housing stability, including employment, increasing income, addressing mental/physical health, transportation, childcare, community engagement, strength-based case management, advocacy, landlord mediation and outreach to promote self-sufficiency. The HCM will manage multiple cases at once, build on the strengths of participants, develop person-centered service plans, and connect participants with needed resources and services. Creative problem-solving, careful record-keeping and strong community/landlord linkages and relationship will be key.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Screen, assess eligibility, verify client needs, and conduct intakes for prospective participants.
Complete Reverse Referral and Community Que Referrals in the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) system for all RRH participants.
Assess program participants at program entry to jointly develop a strength-based, goal-driven action plan, progress monitoring, money management, tenant education, and referrals that promote permanent housing and self-sufficiency in the future.
Identifying participant strengths and barriers to stability to help ensure proper housing options or maintain their current housing.
Work with participants to locate, secure or maintain appropriate housing; assist with landlord negotiations, housing applications, and leases when needed; advocate with landlords for prospective tenants.
Maintain professional rapport with clients, peers and other community service providers.
Identifying and provide outreach to landlords and community organizations to educate them about RRH and HP related services:
-Locate suitable RRH housing options.
-Locate landlords with residents in need of HP services.
-Build relationships and connections with landlords.
-Serve as a landlord liaison to help mitigate any issues that arise with tenants.
-Work with tenants and landlords to solve issues and prevent evictions.
Develop a referral network of services and supports that assist with housing retention, including linkages for warm handoffs to specialists in employment, transportation, childcare, social service benefits, substance use issues, mental health, medical care, HIV specialized care, etc.
Build relationships with program participants to learn their needs, goals, strengths, and barriers to maintaining stable housing; keep the channels of communication open and be proactive about problem-solving.
Provide comprehensive case management support to program participants and ensure services are individualized, culturally competent, family-focused, goal-driven, strength-based, and appropriate.
Provide supportive services to increase access to health care, benefit entitlement services, immigration, employment and vocational services.
Match program participants to appropriate housing options, always taking their needs and ability to generate income into account.

Performs all duties and responsibilities in compliance with policies and procedures, regulations as outlined in the Code of Federal Regulations, and other applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Decontamination:
1. Processes used instruments through the decontamination process.
2. Restocks solutions used to clean the instruments and work space.
3. Loads and operates instrument washer and learns key functions of the machine, including powering machine on/off, cycle settings and adjustments, notifications of machine issues, and how to tag the equipment as inoperable following OneLegacy P&Ps.
4. Oversees solution maintenance, including communication when solution stock levels fall below par levels for reordering, preparation of solutions, and proper disposal of solutions prior to expiration.
Sterilization:
1. Inspects and ensures instruments have been thoroughly washed.
2. Utilizes correct wrapping technique for instrument type, and include protective coverings as applicable.
3. Loads the autoclave machine using the correct load configuration based on instrument types.
4. Verifies the autoclave is running appropriately for specified cycle. If the autoclave cycle fails or aborts, the SPT is responsible for communication to management for guidance on corrective action for the machine.
5. Documents all activities associated with the use of the autoclave for sterilization procedures as outlined in OneLegacy P&Ps.
6. Communicates with management for inventory stock replenishment.
Quality Control Release:
1. Safely removes instruments from autoclave and places instruments to quarantine hold.
2. Documents instruments undergoing biological indicator quarantine hold.
3. Initiates biological indicator testing process.
4. Reads and interprets results of biological indicator process.
5. Releases or rejects instruments appropriately as determined by biological indicator process.
Central Supply Operations Tasks:
1. Participates in rotating and shelving items, tracking inventory levels and discarding outdated items to ensure adequate levels for clinical readiness.
2. Participates in med gas tank rotation and monitoring to ensure adequate air supply is available.
3. Arranges sharpening and repairing of instruments as needed or required.
4. Ensures cleanliness of Central Supply areas at each OneLegacy facility as outlined in OneLegacy's Policies and Procedures.
5. Performs inspections of all OneLegacy recovery facilities; frequency of inspections is at the discretion of management.
Secondary Duties:
1. Attends all department staff meetings, annual hazard communication and control safety training sessions for Cal-OSHA, contract processors, and other training programs as deemed necessary by the Project Manager of Organs and Tissue Operations
