We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Systems Engineer, Change Management Lead supporting one of the premier programs within the Air & Space Defense Systems (ASDS) business unit. In this role, your experience will play a critical part in assessing and responding to RFP (Request for Proposal), RFC (Request for Change), and ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) requests from our government customer.
What You Will Do
Be responsible for soliciting, coordinating, and consolidating inputs from cross-functional teams, as well as developing the artifacts required to respond to customer RFP, RFC, and ROM requests
Serve as a direct interface to the customer during reviews, briefings, and technical exchanges as necessary to fully understand and successfully respond to customer change requests
Brief Raytheon senior leadership to obtain concurrence prior to presenting a proposed solution to the customer
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience with proposal generation, evaluation, reviews, pricing, quality checks, and/or submissions of proposals.
Experience with Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Requests for Change (RFCs), and/or Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates, preferably in support of government or defense programs.
Experience with large-scale Agile Software development process
Active and transferable TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a Polygraph after start.
