Manage change, inventory control, financial analysis, and ensure proper distribution of inventory for any discontinued, damaged, and/or obsolete inventory items.

Monitor and update production timelines, delivery dates, etc. and communicate those updates with customers and suppliers.
Remain in compliance with Quality Assurance and Safety standards at all times.
Stay abreast of industry trends and participate in market research meetings.
Travel to supplier locations as needed in order to discuss material needs, new product development, resolve quality issues, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Minimum of 8 years of experience within a manufacturing environment is required
Minimum of 5 years of Production Management experience overseeing a production team within a manufacturing environment is required
Ideal candidates will possess a Six Sigma Belt and/or Lean Manufacturing experience
Must have experience with production scheduling and understand how materials flow efficiently through a manufacturing facility

Role Overview:
The Solar Site Lead Technician will be responsible for the on-site operations, maintenance, repairs, and replacement of solar field equipment at EDPR NA's operating solar-energy generation site. You will also perform Lock out Tag out (LOTO), Tail Board meetings, and job-specific documentation that is required to conduct solar maintenance in the safest manner possible. Additionally, you will perform inspections of equipment, tools, and facility for compliance with EDPR's policy and Governmental Safety and Environmental regulations. Main responsibilities:
* Ensure proper operation and maintenance of solar field equipment and associated solar plant components including inverters, tracker systems, transformers, PV panels, substations, switchgears, access roads, fences, and security systems
* Supervise a team of 1 to 4 technicians to execute preventative and corrective maintenance
* Proactively look for improvement opportunities to job-appropriate processes and procedures and communicate through appropriate channels to implement improvements using the Management of Change Protocols
* Read schematics in order to troubleshoot complicated mechanical and electrical, problems with inverters, tracker control systems, PV panels, and components
* Perform mechanical and electrical component repair and replacement of parts to correct malfunctions in accordance with all pertinent manufacturers' requirements
