TempToFT Print Operator Summary: Operating a variety of machines for the printing industry including presses, rewinders, die cutters, and laminators. There will be cross training involved; however the fundamental basics are all the same across the machines. You will help maintain the machines and perform the cleaning duties as needed. The Production Operator follows established procedures to manufacture chemical intermediates and finished products. The Operator follows procedures that are set forth in the form of batch records and work instructions. This person completes a variety of duties: in addition to operating chemical processes, the employee may perform setup, cleaning of equipment, waste disposal, emergency response, warehouse activities, maintenance, and clean-up activities needed to facilitate general operations and regulatory compliance. Under general supervision, the Equipment Operator must be proficient in heavy equipment operation relating to earthmoving activities, including but not limited to, support of remediation activities, underground storage tank removal, soil excavation, backfilling, waste bulking, and/or demolition services, in accordance with established company policies. Equipment Operators will work on-site at project locations which typically include abandoned warehouses, buildings, highways, railyards or other outdoor areas. The work environment is usually dirty, dusty, and noisy, containing hazardous or potentially hazardous substances and/or materials and is subject to inclement or extreme weather conditions.
