Key Duties & Responsibilities: Successfully handle and deliver packages on time. Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs. on a frequent basis; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations, walk, bend, climb stairs. Safely operate company delivery vehicles (Mercedes Sprinter, Dodge ProMaster, Ford Transit), perform daily vehicle safety inspections. Adhere to all driving laws and company safety policies. Use smart phone device for GPS navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members. Job Requirements: Must be 21 years or older. Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license OR unexpired state-issued identification. Authorized to work in the United States Must successfully pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening (which does include pre-employment testing for marijuana) Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills. Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position). Company will conduct ongoing MVR checks on vehicular accidents, driving violations and drivers status in compliance with Federal and State law. Physically fit to meet delivery demands. The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner.
