This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and will be responsible for all receiving and inspections of inbound materials as well as processing and tracking outbound shipments of products and materials. Responsibilities:
This is a 2nd shift position with work hours from 3pm to 11 pm. There may be occasional overtime.

Physically and virtually receive goods, inspect parts and materials, when they arrive. Validate the accuracy and quality of each inbound order received and then notify relevant parties of the arrival and current condition of each order.

Assist with inventory control and assist in streamlining the processes to receive, add, update the inventory, and support monthly inventory cycle counting to align on hand inventory with ERP system.
Process the outbound shipment of parts, materials, and packages on behalf of Boston Metal in the timeliest, most cost-effective manner.
Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.
Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
Follow the proper implementation of EHS/5S standards to maintain a clean facility, including floor cleaning, dock door maintenance, general warehouse cleanliness and organization of warehouse.
Enforce all warehouse safety standards as it relates to general warehouse safety and forklift safety policies.
Experience working a forklift, scissor lift and pallet jack for moving pallets of material regularly throughout the warehouse.
Ability to drive and safely operate a 26ft box truck or an electric van for local transportation of parts and materials as needed. Candidate will be required to pass a DOT Physical. A 26ft box truck does not require a CDL, but cannot exceed a 10,000lb load.

Opportunity summary: As Loader in our busy shipping bay, you will be responsible for operating industrial forklift to track load and/or unload trucks for delivering the units to customers according to their requirements. You will also keep accurate tally of what is shipped to customers. We are a high-volume manufacturing plant and you will be part of a team that loads up to 25 trailers a day.
You will also be responsible for all activities associated with safely operating the forklift in addition to participating in cross training efforts and sharing duties with other drivers.
This position is non-Union. OT is paid at time and ½ for over 40 hours worked. We work Monday through Friday with mandatory OT as scheduled. Our plant is not climate controlled.

The Material Handler I is a frontline manufacturing position responsible for accurately processes the intake, transfer, and storage of all mechanical seal components and packaging in accordance with company procedures and expected time frames.
