This position is located in the Technical Services Bureau (TSB), Evidence Control Division (ECD), Equipment and Supplies Branch. This Materials Handler position is covered under the National Association of Government Employees (NAGE) bargaining unit and you may be required to pay an agency fee through direct payroll deductions.
The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
* Receives, stores, inspects, identifies, safeguards, maintains, issues, and delivers supplies on behalf of the department.
* Ensures that perishables are properly stored from time of receipt to time of issuance.
* Ensures that technical items which require special protection against heat, cold, moisture, light, dryness, are identified and that correct measures are taken to prevent losses.
* Ensures that stock is classified correctly and kept in a neat, clean, and orderly shelf arrangement. Ensures that warehoused items coming into stock are placed to ensure that the oldest supplies are issued first to prevent deterioration.
* Verifies quantities received against packing lists, delivery receipts, and purchases orders.
* Confirms quantities, obtains signatures on appropriate documents and makes distribution and assures that information is entered on required register.
* Makes deliveries and pick-ups of property and/or supplies to individual department elements as directed.
* Operates equipment and motor vehicles with gross vehicle weights (GVWs) of more than 10,000 pounds and up to 26,000 pounds.
* Operates a variety of manual hand trucks, hydraulic hand trucks, and electric forklifts with a lifting capacity of 5,000 pounds, for the purpose of loading, unloading and storing supplies.
* Loads property and/or supplies on vehicles and ensures that load is equally distributed and properly tied down to keep from falling or shifting to prevent damage.
* Ensures that proper documents are validated for all property and supplies delivered or picked up.
* Assists in inventorying process as needed.
* Manually moves equipment, supplies or department property as required.
* Acts in a professional manner at all times and have good verbal and written communication skills.
* Works with minimum supervision, and remains on task.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Ability to safely operate a 24' box truck.
* Ability to operate a forklift.
* Skilled in stacking, moving and arranging items on pallets in consideration of height, weight, and special handling requirements.
* Knowledge of warehousing methods, procedures, and material handling techniques.
* Knowledge of warehouse functions such as material receiving, storage, issuing and preservation
* Ability to complete documents and to write-out stock descriptions, to accurately list quantity, the unit of issuance, and labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing stock.
* Must demonstrate competent use of PC and various basic programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet). Training in proprietary programs will be required.
Licensures, Certifications and other requirements
Incumbent must possess a valid US driver's license. Class A or B CDL permit is a plus.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
Work Experience
There is no specific length of training or experience required. Work Environment
Work is done inside or outside in area that may be hot, damp, cold, drafty, or poorly lighted. The Materials Handler I/II is responsible for GMP warehouse operations supporting GMP manufacture of MacroGenics products. Warehouse operations include physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and dispensing of GMP materials, including raw materials, semi-finished products and other supplies/equipment as required.

Receive, inspect and disposition materials to ensure compliance with all company and regulatory agency policies and procedures.

The annual equivalent of pay for the Material Handler I position ranges from $43,400 - $66,300. The annual equivalent of pay for the Material Handler II position ranges from $47,500 - $72,500. For non-exempt roles, and according to applicable regulations, there may be the possibility for overtime pay. This role is eligible for the Company's discretionary bonus and discretionary equity incentives. Work Environment:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for accurate loading of all orders.
• Verify quality of all products prior to loading.
• Work to ensure that we are reaching our goal of 100% customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate efforts with the production staff to insure on time loading of product.
• Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required.
SPECIFIC DUTIES
• Coordinate with Logistics Manager to insure work orders are followed and glass is loaded for correct route and trucks.
• Organize completed glass in correct location, i.e. Will Call, Fabrication customers, and KGa customers.
• Insure glass carts are kept clean and good working order.
• Organize carts and assist to keep shop clean and well maintained.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of the job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
The employee exerts up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
Vision requirements include clarity of vision at 20 inches or less; clarity of vision at 20 feet or more; ability to identify and distinguish colors; the ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point; the ability to judge distances and spatial relationships; and the ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
Work is performed in shop environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather conditions and vibration. There is occasional exposure to humid and extreme non-weather related cold or hot conditions. There is frequent exposure to constant very loud sounds sufficient enough to cause distraction.
This position requires the ability to drive a large delivery vehicle and frequent local travel to client sites and occasional out of town travel.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in the art world, storage/collection management knowledge, and will be comfortable moving a wide range of art objects. The Art Handler/Driver will report to the Operations Supervisor.
Core Responsibilities
Proper handling of art objects, using the appropriate methods and materials for packaging, loading & securing for safe transport
Install/de-install artworks in-house or at offsite locations, often troubleshooting and utilizing critical thinking to solution scope changes
Preparation and careful execution of paperwork, including bills of lading, labels, driver logs, and detailed condition reports with accompanying photos if necessary
Receive and release shipments into warehouse facilities
Pack artworks for local, national and international transportation and storage
Maintain compliance with all local, state, DOT regulations
Support to internal teams, as needed
Weekend, overtime, and holiday work may be necessary; therefore, schedule flexibility is required
Other projects as assigned by Manager
Qualifications & Skills
Team Player, able to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented and dynamic environment
Demonstrated knowledge of installation, packing and art handling
Excellent communication and attention to detail to both clients and coworkers
Ability to problem solve and solution onsite issues with the experience to know when to escalate problems to supervisor
Valid driver's license; CDL license a bonus
Ability to push and pull 150 pounds on a dolly or cart, as well as 50 pounds without mechanical aid
Ability to carry 40 pounds of varying size and shape up to a distance of 90 feet
Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach overhead
Ability to be exposed to outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain and snow
Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, jbars, dollies and other necessary warehouse equipment
This in-person position requires on-site presence at UOVO's DC facility five days a week with occasional requests to work nights and on weekends.

Position Overview
We are seeking dependable individuals to join us at our new two-year-old facility in Front Royal, Virginia. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager and Supervisor, this role will unload floor loaded containers of frozen raw material. Should be able to handle cases of raw materials weighing up to 50lbs.
Must be able to work in a negative 10 degrees Fahrenheit cold storage environment.
Key Responsibilities
Promote Safety First
Able to endure physical demands such as frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and twisting lifting of 30-40lb boxes
Stack pallets with food products in the cold dock
Check and count freight for accuracy
Take Stock Counts as needed
Load and Unload refrigerated truck loads
Load and Unload Ambient-Dry trucks
Sort and down stack pallets to remove damaged goods
Housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean working environment
Repackaging salvaged goods
Fixing and sorting wood pallets
The Ideal Candidate
Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
Must have excellent attention to detail
Experience with Food Product
Must have inventory experience for cycle counting
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Bilingual is a plus!
Work Location & Working Conditions
This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Front Royal, VA facility.
The schedule is Monday to Friday
Mid Shift - 12:00pm-8:30pm
Shift Differential = $0.50/hour
Work is performed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to cold temperatures, loud machinery, and strict food safety protocols. The role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting (up to 50 lbs).
