Tag & Title (Backup Responsibilities)
Serve as backup for Tag & Title processing: prepare and submit title/registration paperwork, temporary tags, transfers, lien filings/releases, and other DMV-related documents.
Communicate with customers and state agencies on title status, registration renewals, and title corrections.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with state DMV requirements and dealership policies.
Maintain knowledge of e-title systems and Dealer Management System (DMS) title modules.
Willingness to obtain any required state registration/title agent certification or DMV credentials.
Qualifications & Skills
Required
High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred.
2+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience; retail or dealership experience strongly preferred.

1) Service Department Operations

Accept work assignments from Service Writer/Manager.
Request parts for the job as early as possible when needs become known.
Perform service, repair and customization work in accordance to factory specifications.
Assist Service Writer, when requested, with writing up work orders, communication with customers, test riding, or any other issue which will help ensure customer satisfaction.
Notify Service Writer/Manager of additional work needed or any delays in expected completion as soon as they become known so that customers may be contacted and notified of the delay.
After the job is finished ensure proper completion and filing of paperwork.
Keep work areas as clean as possible and assist others with maintaining shop cleanliness.
Maintain technical (PHD and other) qualification by completing any necessary training programs assigned to you by the Service Manager.

Ensure accuracy and compliance with state DMV requirements and dealership policies.
Maintain knowledge of e-title systems and Dealer Management System (DMS) title modules.

Required
High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in accounting, business, or related field preferred.

Peterson's Harley-Davidson of Miami is looking to hire a full-time Service Technician. We are seeking one Entry Level and one Master mechanic. We are a top ranked HD Service Department with year-round work and great benefits.

Qualifications:
Must be a Team Player
Provide prompt, dependable, high quality work
Complete repair work within the scheduled or allotted time period
Maintain productivity as close to 100% as possible
Request needed parts for each job as early as possible once needs are known
Perform service, repair, and customization work in accordance to factory specifications
Ensure proper completion and filing of paperwork
Keep work areas clean and safe
Maintain technical (PHD and other) qualifications by completing all necessary training programs assigned to you by the Service Manager
Any additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
1+ years experience with Harley-Davidson for Senior or Master Technician
Harley-Davidson Technician Certificate required for Entry-Level Techs
Valid Motorcycle License or Motorcycle Endorsement
Equipped with proper tools
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and a thorough background check
