Serve as the key point of contact between Axium and Physician offices. Place outbound calls and send faxes to Physician offices regarding patient status of authorization, patient assistance, shipment status, indigent status and transfers to other pharmacies. Contact physician offices for prescriptions, lab work, and/or clinical information that will assist with authorization approval as required by plan. Troubleshoot and facilitate appropriate actions on patient orders with operations team members as needed and in the appropriate manner. Communicate effectively among management and physician contacts in an effort to offer an exceptional experience for all clients/customers of Axium.
